There are already a ton of potentially great games that we know about slated for release this year, but I'm sure there will be a few that take us by surprise.
So, disregarding any mystery titles, what are the games you are looking forward to this year?
Ghostbusters and Batman are what I'm looking forward to, but I guess only if they're out for the PC, since I'm still a generation behind on my console gaming.
Frak, I still need to finish Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, FFXII, and Silent Hill: Origins (which is still wrapped)!
I am not sure if Bioshock2 is coming out this year or not but if it is, that has to be the one I am looking forward to the most!
My guess is that Bioshock 2 is tentatively a 2009 title, but it will be delayed until 2010.
I just came across a release date for Wolfenstien! I belive sometime before July is what I read but I got lost becuase Wolfenstein is one of the coolest games I've played.
The original for the PC was great and Return to Castle Wolfenstein was just amazing. I hope I can expect the same from this.
As I said over on Mania, Take 2 announces that Borderlands, Mafia II, BioShock 2, Red Dead Redemption, and the second GTAIV 360-exclusive expansion would all arrive before Halloween.
Borderlands looks mildly interesting...I will have to see some more gameplay with that. Bioshock2 WILL kick ass, I refuse to think anything else about that game...Not interested in Mafia2....Is Red Dead Redemption a sequal to Red Dead Revolver?
I'm mostly looking forward to Ghostbusters. If anyone remembers, I am a huge Ghostbusters fan, so when this game was first announced, I was ecstatic. When it got pushed back, I was ...disappointed, to say the least. But now that its coming out, and after the sweet trailer, I'm even more excited for it than ever.
The recent trailer for Batman: Arkham Asylum got me more interested in that game that I had been previously. I don't know when I'll have the time to play these games (I still have a bunch that I haven't finished, or even started in the case of Dynasty Warriors 6 which is still in the wrapper.)

COD4:Modern Warfare sequel is due out 11/10/09. Considering how much I love COD4, I am in!

I am looking forward to a bunch of games this year. I'm sure that a lot of them won't end up being great, but they still look cool, at least on paper.
