According to next week's comic list, your much-delayed Wild Cards issue will come out on July 14th. Maybe they're telling the truth this time.
This is not where you're supposed to do that.
Well, sort of. I mean, I didn't go to the trouble of editing posts.
I'm not too big on editing posts.
When Patrick gets around to giving us all the ability to edit your posts, you won't have to.
Kevin Spacey's doing a comic book? AWESOME!
"He may be Keyser Sose, but he wouldn't know real theatre if it was sucking his cock on Hampstead Heath!"
AT LONG LAST, I own the final issue of Wild Cards!!!! MWA HAH HAHA AH AH AHHA AH AH HA AHHA HA AH AHA HAHAH AH AH AHA HA HA HAHA!
We had a little bit of comic book frustration this past week (though obviously nothing on the epic scale of your Wild Cards wait, Quasar). Our normal comic shop mysteriously did not have "Hit Monkey" (part 1 of a 3-part mini-series) last week. They had no knowledge of it; it did not show up in their computers. Yet the internet gave all indication that it had, indeed, been released. This did not make sense to me, since "Deadpool" - the origin of "Hit Monkey" - is such a popular comic right now.
Yesterday Goiter and I journeyed to another comic shop and lo! There it was... "Hit Monkey." (And a good thing Goiter was there, too, since I am quite short and "Hit Monkey" was hanging out in the canopy... on the very top rack and quite out of reach.) The world was made right and I was able to continue reading the history of the world's greatest assassin for killing off assassins... and why he always looks so sad.
If Dead Pool was in more titles, he'd be Spider-man. What the hell was the deal with him showing up in Hulk only to be turned into a Hulk, only to be lost in the carnage of all the Avengers and X-Men and FF and Spider-man turning into Hulks? And is there anyone who was waiting in breathless anticipation of 2 2-part series of Thor Hulk vs Spider-Man Hulk and Wolverine Hulk vs Captain America Hulk? I mean, IS THERE????
So it was recently revealed who the Red Hulk was. And it was Thunderbolt Ross. Not real sure if I'm happy with that revelation (compounded by the revelation that the new Red She-Hulk is his daughter Betty). One thing I REALLY don't like is the Red Hulk doesn't have a mustache, but when he turns back into General Ross, he has one, then changes back to Red Hulk and it's gone. Don't like it!
The Sam Jackson voice-over Avengers teaser looks so amazingly 2002.
Imagine with the Jurassic Park movies, if they had made 50 of them instead of just 3, this is the sort of shit we're dealing with.
LOL
By the time Jurassic Park 50 rolls around, humans will be the ones locked away in zoos, the dinosaurs will be the ones wearing lab coats and safari khakis, and our only hope will be an uneasy alliance with Peter Jackson's King Kong.
