Actually, I don't think it is. It's probably quite accurate.

A more accurate description of Jake might be "that thing you do".

Current annoyance:  The Sky+ box (TiVo, basically) and it's finite capacity being taken up with loads of old shite like repeats of 'Glee', episodes of 'America's Next Top Hateful Meat Puppet' or 'Britain's Next Top Vacuous Clothes Horse' plus fucking costume dramas etc. etc. all having been on there for ages and showing no sign at all of being watched.

Yet apparantly, when I delete them and then get asked why, the answer "Because I fucking pay the £90 per month subscription for the whole TV/Phone/Broadband service, and when you pay half of it then you can clog up half of it!" is not an acceptable answer!!!

My roomie fucks with my shit, too.  Just last night, she closed a very important tab on my web browser.

Current Annoyance
Last night my roomie's computer started talking really really loudly about the game Go at 3 a.m. (Google Chrome had decided to restart a YouTube video he had been watching) and, since my roomie sleeps with earplugs and the like, he didn't hear it and was sleeping soundly. I think most people would do what I, being incredibly sleepy and not wanting to fiddle around with my roomie's laptop, did.

Maybe you should sleep with earplugs in, too.  Or maybe you should have simply pressed the mute button LOCATED ON THE KEYBOARD.

Current Annoyance: roomies who passive aggressively take their spat out into public instead of confronting one another directly.

I'm the kind of asshole who confronts his roomie directly, then re-confronts her indirectly.

He's NOT watching them. That's why they're clogging up his Sky+ box.

Why is he recording them, then?  He watched at some point. 

Also, I was going to say something about Dalty's clogged box, but I started to feel ill.

Dalty's post suggests that he has had an argument with another person who is using his Sky+ box because that person is clogging it up with shows that go unwatched in the end, so said person should not get upset when Dalty erases the shows in question - especially since he is paying for the Sky+ box on his own without any contribution from the other person.

I think that person may be Thurston McQ.
