I, too, am glad for the "not funny" disclaimer. That way I didn't have to think about why it wasn't funny.

I used to keep up with the new videos by the Lonely Island guys, but I guess I've fallen way behind, because this one is almost a year old and I am watching it for the first time (it's got 137 million views at youtube). I guess this was one of the three songs they made into a medley at the Emmies (I think), and I caught a little bit of it there, but the songs were kind of jumbled. I meant to look them up afterwards, but only ended up watching the one with Michael Bolton about Captain Jack Sparrow. Anyway, this is just a good song.

I also watched the video for the third song from the medley, '3-Way'. I guess it's the third part of a sort of video continuum that started with 'Dick in a Box'.

Had I known that you were behind on Lonely Island stuff, I would have posted this two weeks ago:

Wow, that one's pretty great, too.  I am now that old guy that I used to make fun of because he was so far behind on everything that was cool or funny.

Some Cleveland sports radio guy practically has an aneurism on the air going off about how bad the Browns are and have been for the past decade. With that guy going nuts, plus the images of Browns futility in the video, you'd think the Browns were 0-8 (they're actually 3-5). Pretty funny.

It's pretty easy to spot how Piff does the trick, but I really enjoy how much Penn, Teller, and the crowd are enjoying the act.

The reason I always disliked Jimmy Fallon on SNL was that he couldn't keep it together the majority of the time and kept breaking out of character. It didn't happen as much during his early years on the show, but the more he became one of the major players, the more he would crack up during skits. It was annoying as hell.

He does that occasionally during his late night show, too, but it's not as distracting in that context. I've gotta say, though, whenever he does his impressions of musicians, he's completely focused and is usually pretty spot on. He doesn't exaggerate the impression and doesn't break out of character. Another good example of that is his performance of "Whip My Hair" as Neil Young.
