I started the book series (after rejecting them for twelve years) and they have me hooked. One week in, I'm halfway through The Goblet of Fire, and I must admit: The books are way better than I thought they would be. Hilarious at times, haunting too, they sucked me right in. "Tractor beam, Hare, sucked me right in." I was just wondering who the Harry Potter peeps were in these forums, and if anyone wanted to comment on the series (WITHOUT spoiling anything for books 4 1/2-7 lol) feel free.

Harry Potter

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter...a new theme park by Universal Studios in Orlando. Wow! I can't wait, I'm booking a trip for the spring...
Sorry. I meant to get back to you on this way earlier.
Yeah, the Potter books are really very good. The only major gripe that Rowling's portrayal of teen boy angst is a bit overdone at the beginning of book 5.
Have you finished the books yet? There are a few companion books that Rowling wrote, as well, but i haven't read them. One is Tales of Beedle the Bard and the other is, I believe, Quidditch Through the Ages. I bought the insanely priced (but very, very cool) edition of Tales of Beedle the Bard, but haven't read it...yet.
And here I thought no one responded. :D Yeah, I'm all done with the books. I must get my hands on Beetle Bard, sounds awesome. The books were great, and now that I'm finished I just want to go back and read them again! Insane. I even dream in the HP universe. Scary.
