I really can't say

enough good things about Flying Dog;s (http://www.flyingdogales.com) Raging Bitch 20th ANniversary Belgian IPA.
I don't know how, but after two beers, I'm rather fucked up. I'm cracking open my third now. Whilst I contemplate the tasty bouquet, sitting in front of my computer in my Texas Instruments jacket (I'm a bit chilly), I realise that it took me a lot of effort to make it to the fridge and back.
Did I mention I was cold? In case I didn't, I'm fucking cold. The beer is also cold. It might have something to do with it. I don't know. Where was I? Oh yes. Kah. I don't think I've mentioned her in at least an hour or two. . Drinking and driving is bad, right? How long does it take to get to Milwakeeeeeeeeeee or however the fuck you spell it when you're sober.
Oh, did I mention...Flying Dog Raging Bitch. Fucking good shit, man. Good people drink good beer.
I also have wine, but that's for Christmas dinner.

Also, I'v ebeen watching Lost. Season 3 is much better than I ever gave it credit for being. Nikki and Paole were a lot less annoying than I remember. This, if you haven't figured it out, is sort of a stream of semi-consciousness post. Bite me.

Kah.

I was going to write more, but as;pgljaa[s,gasoigh0275uk;lagj]qgubjf

Jesus!

I've had 6 pints of Labatt's tonight and I can sort of function.

Gotta try Raging Beeeeee-aaaatch! Assuming the PC commissars in this socialist country allow a beer with that name.....

It's like 8.9%abv, but that fact that the first time I've eaten today was at 4:30 or so and I've not eaten since might have something to do with it. Maybe. But don't let the detract from the awesomeness that is Kah--I mean Flying Dog Brewery. Heeeeey, maybe I could break in. The brewery is just down the road, and what with all of the snow on the ground, It'd give me extra time to drink before the alarms went off. Okay gang, either I'll rspond when I'm thoroughly drunk off my ass or I'll be in jail or something. I odn't knwo. I'm too drunk and tired to think crooked.

LOL!! We had a bit of a snowstorm with sleet last night while I was at work, so of course everyone got hammered. Idiots. Also, my boss gave me a scrapbooking kit for christmas. L-O-fucking-L. He's known me for 10 years and he gets me a scrapbooking kit. One of my regulars bought me a George Foreman grill and another gave me a 100 dollar grocery store gift card. <3 My customers are awesome. The friendboy bought me lingerie and handcuffs, so I'm finding it easier to forget that I've been sick for almost two weeks and that I hate christmas. Also, also, christmas cookies from another of my regulars. :) Also wik, my boss gave me a 25 dollar walmart gift card, and oops! it's worth 50 bucks. Haha.

I almost dislocated my jaw coughing the other morning. I don't want to be sick anymore. Of course, I watched seasons 2 and 3 of Buffy in less than a week while living on my couch, so not all bad. I miss 90s Seth Green.

If I weren't on a diet (reduced caloric intake is no fun), I'd be soaking in some 3 Floyds, probably Behemoth.

I live 2 miles from the brewery. :)

I don't get the point of strong beer. It tastes awful. Just have a shot and chase it down with normal beer.

Will people never learn?

2 DABs were my treat when I got home tonight. Played designated driver for hubby because it's Xmas and the city is covered with ice and rain. Saw the giant in-laws. Seriously, Mr. Karma's family are giants. Even the old ladies are like 6'3". They were serving Leinenkugel and MGD 64 so why bother anyway drinking anyway.

Strong beer is also good beer. Not always, certainly, but craft brewers make some great strong beers with really intriguing flavours and character.

You're just a wuss. admit it. I can slam back back a 12pack in a New York second.

Much as I love New York, their beer sucks. As does all American beer. Stick to bombing brown people. It's the only thing you're good at anymore

Please elaborate on "good beer," then.
Stone Brewery (in Cali), Dogfishhead in Delaware, Troegs in Pennsylvania, and my hometown Flying Dog are all excellent craft breweries making very good beers. I'm knocking back a Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter (7.9%abv) right now. I'ts dark and chocolaty and malty. It's got a great mouthfeel and is simply delish. It goes nicely with the caramels I'm snacking on.

DogfishHead is supremely adventurous. They make an exquisite pumpkin ale every September, and also have a brew based upon biochemical analyses of drinkware found in King Midas' tomb. It's part of their "Ancient Ales" line and includes things like honey and saffron. It's somewhere between mead and beer and is very interesting. They also make a beer called "Pangea" which includes ingredients from all seven continents. How cool is that? Their piece de resistance is the 120-minute IPA with an abv of 18% and an IBU of 120. Like hops? This is your new best friend, and drinking two 12oz. bottles by yourself will probably be as close as you come to feeling like you've had two Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters.

Stone Brewery has some nice brews as well, notably Arrogant Bastard which is an oak aged ale, rated an A- in by BeerAdvocate.

Uh, no, in fact. I'm having a nice Christmas evening with my family. I will have a couple beers later though. And I'm no lightweight, either.

US foreign policy is a fucking nightmare, I just wouldn't drag it into a pleasant discussion about beer and lingerie.

Well, fuck, dude, I could knock back a 12pack of Bud as well, or Yuengling or Molson Golden. Those are pussy beers, good for maybe knocking back whilst digging into a bushel of Maryland Blue Crabs. Other than that, it's not worth the effort to go to the store and buy that swill.

I have eaten turkey for the past 7 days. I'm in a hypnotic daze right now.

The Griswold Family Christmas at our home has left me in a state of food shock.

I'm starting to feel all guilty about everything I've worked for. I'm starting to feel sorry about...you know what? Gatdamn us Americans. Damn us to hell.

Self pity is the newest form of freedom, but the best thing about that is.... I DON'T CARE.

I will think of you, Space Tycoon, the next time I drop off 25lb of food next year, because, you know, we Americans NEVER give back. Do you need food?
