He left a mountain of half-paid medical and property bills. Luckily, he didn't leave those to me.
My stepmother asked if I wanted anything of his. I told her I guessed maybe I'd like his Alice's Restaurant DVD (I bought it for him about a decade back), and she said she'd give it to me. She also said I could keep one of his berets. That's cool, I guess.

I feel your pain. I love my parents immensely but it usually takes me all of ten minutes to yearn for some peace & quiet when they are about. With the whole moving house / ex-Mrs Dalty break up thingy going on then my mother - God bless her - has been on the phone EVERY night checking I am OK.Shouldn't complain too much though. It'll suck royally when they are gone.
My parents live in Ohio, so they snowbird at my place. Show up around Thanksgiving and leave around spring. If I had a life, their visit would really cramp my style. Since I don't it means I get a live-in chef/dog walker/handyman/maid, which is sweet.

Didn't he also leave you a loan?
