Akula will be the next movie for Repo: The Genetic Opera and Saw 2 - 4 director Darren Lynn Bousman. The new thriller, a heist set onboard a submarine, has Resident Evil/Event Horizon/Death Race duo Paul W.S. Anderson and Jeremy Bolt as producers. The screenplay was written by Mark Distefano and a rewrite is currently being done by Alex Litvak.
