Brian Nathanson, a screenwriter who's done work on several projects that haven't as yet been produced, has been hired by Warner Bros. to perform a rewrite on the Alien Zoo screenplay. A first draft was handed in by Joe Stillman (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief) last year.

Based on a concept by producer Dylan Sellers (of the Agent Cody Banks film series), Alien Zoo is described as a high concept family film, sort of a Jurassic Park with extraterrestrials (which will be created using CG). Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne of Unique Features are producing.
