The first major buy at this year's Sundance Film Festival has happened to Black Dynamite. Shortly after the movie screened Sunday evening Sony Pictures entered discussions to pick up the domestic distribution rights. By 6:00 AM the next morning the studio had acquired the rights for an amount rumored to be $2 million dollars. [Full story]
