How many times has this story been told in the movies? Richard Pryor played the lucky inheritor in a 1985 movie with John Candy. Before that there was a movie released in 1945, and before that one that got released in 1935, and before that another in 1921, and before that there was the original movie in 1914. And before that there was a Brewster's Millions play that audiences went to see in 1906. And before that? How about the original novel that it's all based on published in 1901. Of course in today's infaltionary enviroment this latest version of Brewster's Millions will likely be retitled Brewster's Billions.
