Steve Carell and Tina Fey will play a married couple out for a Date Night. The actors will shoot the film for 20th Century Fox during their hiatuses from their shows The Office and 30 Rock. Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum) will direct.
"I wanted to do a relatable, grounded character comedy about marriage and the lengths we go to preserve the spark," Levy was quoted as saying by Variety. "Tina and Steve are smart and relatable, and the tone of their comedy perfectly fits this film."
