Fox Home Video will bring Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs home on October 27, 2009. One-disc DVD ($29.99) and three-disc Blu-ray ($39.99) versions will go on sale.

The Blu-ray comes with a digital copy of the movie and features an audio commentary by director Carlos Saldanha, deleted scenes, five featurettes, two deleted scenes, a "story maker", three short films featuring the Scrat character, five Fox Movie Channel Presents segments and a tutorial on how to draw the movie's characters.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs opened yesterday and earned $13.8 million on 3,993 screens, making it the best-ever opening for an Ice Age movie as well as the highest-opening ever for an animated film on a Wednesday.

MSN is debuting the second trailer for Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Unlike the Scrat-centric teaser trailer from a couple of months back, this new preview definitely dives more into the story for the film and reassures general fans that all of the characters and talent from the first two MSN.pictures are back for number three. Plus, we finally get to see some of these promised dinosaurs mentioned in the film's subtitle.
