Want to see 29 more photos from Wednesday's on location shoot at the L.A. donut eatery? On Location has 'em and along with more images of Downey wearing his shades atop the donut shop there are also ones of Samuel L. Jackson wearing his Nick Fury costume (and getting his eyepatch on.) The site also provides some context for the scene, telling us that while Iron Man is munching on his donuts Nick Fury shows up and asks him if he would like some coffee with his pastries.

People magazine caught a shot of Robrt Downey Jr. in his Iron Man suit (and wearing sunglasses) at yesterday's on location shoot. Just where was Downey hanging out that People's photographer snapped a photo of him wearing the supersuit? Why, it was sitting in the center of a giant donut.

"They wanted to go with a rival for Tony Stark who is closer to his age, and make him American," said Sam Rockwell to MTV News about his character in Iron Man 2. In the comic books Justin Hammer, Rockwell's character, was British and about a generation older (or two) than Tony Stark. When MTV showed what Hammer looked like in the Iron Man comic, Rockwell joked, "That looks like Jeremy Irons... I guess they couldn’t get Jeremy Irons for it."

Rockwell also added that there's plenty of improv being allowed for the actors on the set and that Hammer doesn't get physical in the film ("My character is the brains, not the brawn.")

As promised the first released photo from Iron Man 2 has arrived and been published inside USA Today. The paper also has some quotes from Jon Favreau about where Tony Stark the character is now and how his world has changed in the sequel after revealing to the world that he is a superhero. "We wanted to play with that idea. But it obviously has consequences — in his relationships, on the team. There are a lot of areas we can explore," the director explains.

Hey, there are four suits in the background behind Tony in the photo! So we're guaranteed a Mark IV armor for sure!

While Iron Man 2 has been filming now for about two weeks and the participation of the major cast members was no longer in doubt, we were wondering if guys like Clark Gregg would be coming back for the second movie. Gregg played S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Phil Coulson in the first movie and with a larger role for SHIELD in Iron Man 2 a guarantee, would Agent Coulson be seen again? Today we found out courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter: Gregg is involved in Iron Man 2 and playing the part once again.

And there's also a new person joining Gregg, namely actress Kate Mara. No one outside of the production knows which character Mara is playing in IM2.

What happens when an actor crosses between comic book universes? IESB is reporting that Gary Oldman has been spotted on the set of Iron Man 2, which leads to speculation that the Batman Begins/The Dark Knight actor may have a role in the Marvel superhero sequel. But if Oldman does indeed have a character in the film, who is he playing? And how big would Oldman's role be considering that he's in the middle of shooting The Book of Eli right now?
