Michelle Monaghan (Eagle Eye) has been cast and Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air) in Source Code. Monaghan will play a communications officer who serves as the link between Jake Gyllenhaal's time traveling soldier while Farmiga could play a woman who is riding on the same doomed train that Jake's soldier keeps looping back on again and again.

Moon director Duncan Jones and actor Jake Gyllenhaal (Prince of Persia) are now attached to Source Code, the sci-fi/thriller written by Ben Ripley (Species III). Producers Mark Gordon, Philippe Rousselet and Jordan Wynn are anticipating filming to commence sometime in the first quarter of 2010. Ripley's script currently has been revised by screenwriter Billy Ray (Flightplan, Breach). The project, once set up at Universal, is now at Summit Entertainment.
