Beyoncé will star in the fourth movie version of A Star is Born for director Clint Eastwood. The movie is in development at Warner Bros. with Eastwood's Malpaso Pictures to produce along with Basil Iwanyk and Jon Peters. The script is by Will Fetters who wrote the romantic drama Remember Me.

While the casting of Beyoncé and hiring of Eastwood pushes the project significantly ahead, there still is the requirement of finding the male lead.
