After seeing the teaser I'd have to say, uhm... no. I can't help but think they should have named it: J.J. Abrams does John Woo in Space.
I would have to say kudos on bringing in Sylar (Zachary Quinto) to play Spock. He's been great in Heroes and I'm looking forward to seeing him in a movie. Looks like Spock is a young buck who hasn't learned to meditate properly.
Also, I always look forward to seeing what Eric Bana can bring to a role after seeing him in Chopper.

While the trailer didn't capture the feel of TOS, it still blew my skirt up. It is by far the most anticipated movie for me.
Trek has been needing to head in a new direction for a long time, and though J.J. wouldn't have been my first choice, "It could have been worse John. A LOT worse." John Woo being one of the worse choices.

Hey Patrick, your "Who's In It?" tag needs to include mention of Simon Pegg as Scotty.

Not a big Star Trek fan, but I'll see this based on Simon Pegg being in it alone.
