Taken's Liam Neeson is in talks to topline Unknown White Male, the Dark Castle thriller ready to go in front of cameras come January. As we first covered back in March, Unknown White Male will be directed by Spanish helmer Jaume Collet-Serra. After House of Wax and Orphan, this will be his third film for Dark Castle.

Neeson would play a doctor who takes a trip to Germany for a medical conference. While in Berlin the doc gets in a bad car accident and slips into a coma. When he awakens he is shocked to find that his wife no longer recognizes him and a stranger has assumed not just his identity, he's also boffing his wife.

Neeson's just wrapped Clash of the Titans where he plays Zeus and he's got The A-Team movie lined up to start this fall before he would move on to Unknown White Male.

House of Wax remake director Jaume Collet-Serra is attached to direct a new horror film for Dark Castle Entertainment, Unknown White Male. If he makes the film it will be his third for producer Joel Silver after Collet-Serra finishes production on Orphan, currently shooting.

The Unknown White Male in question in the film's story is a doctor. While visiting Berlin with his wife the doctor is involved with a car accident, his injuries serious enough that he falls into a coma. When the doctor awakens he is shocked to find that another stranger has assumed his identity and stepped into the shoes of his life. The screenplay for Unknown White Male was penned by Karl Gadjusek.

Orphan, scheduled for release in September, stars Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard as parents who adopt a nine-year-old girl (Isabelle Fuhrman) from an orphanage. However, behind the little girl's angelic appearance lies a dangerous and disturbed personality.
