Warner Bros. is working on a new movie project called Vegas Avengers. To be written by Black List 2008 writer Soo Hugh and based on a Men's Journal article of the same title by Peter Godwin, the storyline will center on an ace pilot who is forcibly recruited into a top secret government program where he tests experimental aircraft at the Nellis Air Force Base. The Hollywood Reporter states that those familiar with the pitch said that it harkens back to films like Top Gun. Kevin Misher (Public Enemies) will produce. [Full story]
