Sony Pictures has decided to push up the release of White House Down from November 1, 2013 to June 28, 2013.
The studio may be banking on Channing Tatum's growing star wattage. His Magic Mike movie has earned more than $100 million dollars domestically (on a budget of just $7 mil) and Paramount has readjusted the release of the second G.I. Joe film to March 29, 2013. Reportedly the studio is inserting more scenes with Tatum's character.
