New XCOM game...AGAIN

In what seems to be an annual thing, an announcement of a new XCOM game has been released.
I swear, this happens once a year or so. And as much as I love XCOM and Jagged Alliance, I keep getting excited when they do.

Jagged Alliance looks to be absolutely grade-A shit. Demo is awful.

However, the XCOM remake looks pretty damn cool. Just watched some Gamespot people playing the game on the Xbox and PC, and the graphics and gameplay look to be pretty good. I might have to buy this when it comes out.

Downloaded the demo and played it yesterday. Ran a little choppy on my laptop, so I might have to buy the Xbox version. Overall, it was fun and I think I will have to purchase it.

I went and bought it this weekend. Man is it fun! Really reminds me of the old XCOM games. Working on 4 hours of sleep today because I stayed up late running one more mission last night.

Welp my first session ended in FAIL. If too many countries drop out of XCOM, the game ends. I apparently didn't do good enough in placating them. Sucks, cause I was just starting to get a good squad of soldiers and unlocked Technology. I went back to an earlier save from when I just started, but I might just start all over again. Only problem is I'd have to play through the tutorial missions again.

Finished the game over the weekend. It is definitely a fun game, I haven't tried the multiplayer yet. End fight turned out to be a little challenging, but knowing there was no coming back, I threw my whole squad at it rather than playing it safe. Sure it meant only half of them survived, but I did save the planet :)
