Russian roulette with buccaneers in this extended scene from the new Pirates of the Caribbean flick, tweeted by none other than Jerry Bruckheimer himself.

Maybe he was drunk on too much jambalaya from that N’Orleans restaurant next to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, but after the Saturday night premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at Disneyland Saturday night, the billions-dollar producer tweeted this extended scene from the film.

It’s a nice take on Russian roulette, where Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) has to choose the guns that will be shot at Angelica (Penelope Cruz). And the shooter is none other than Angelica’s father, the dreaded pirate Blackbeard himself (Ian McShane). No sign of Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) here, wonder if he’s still hanging with the redcoats from that previous scene?

On Stranger Tides concerns Captain Jack’s quest for the Fountain of Youth. He’s joined by Barbossa and Angelica, a mysterious woman from his past. They must be getting closer, because this scene opens with Blackbeard asking about “the chalices”.
