Had you been expecting to see Sasha Baron Cohen's Bruno when it was scheduled to come out in theaters on May 15? If so, you need to reconsider your social schedule and look ahead two months ahead.
Universal Pictures has bumped Bruno, Cohen's follow-up to the wildly successful Borat, from 5/15 to 7/10, no reason given. Variety suspects that when Sony Pictures moved its summer tentpole 2012 from July to November it opened the way for Uni to slot in its fashionable comedy into a later summer debut that's not as crowded as the one for May. That makes sense. The way it's looking right now the only rival opening on the same day as Bruno is 20th Century Fox's I Love You Beth Cooper, a romantic comedy. Is there any smooching in Bruno? Don't think so.

Something tells me there will be smooching in Bruno, but that it will be boy-on-boy. Something else tells me that this smooching will be instigated by Bruno, and will be uninvited.
