Chloe is the title of Atom Egoyan's new film, an erotic thriller that will see Julianne Moore and Liam Neeson playing a married couple whose lives run into danger when the temptation to cheat is dangled in front of the husband.
The suspense starts when Moore's doctor character begins harboring thoughts that her spouse is commiting adultery. To test his faithfulness the wife hires an escort (Amanda Seyfried, pictured on the right from her recent appearance in Vanity Fair) to come on to the husband, only to find that what follows places all their lives in jeopardy. The film's screenplay was written by Erin Cressida Wilson but it's origins come from the 2003 French film Nathalie that starred Emmanuelle Beart and Gerard Depardieu.
The first day of shooting takes place in Toronto on February 9. The Oscar-nominated Egoyan is also on the faculty of arts and sciences at the University of Toronto as the dean's distinguished visitor in theatre, film, music and visual studies.
