An additional nine episodes of FlashFoward have been ordered by ABC, giving the new series a full 22 episode run for its inaugural season.
FlashForward, which tells the story of a FBI agents that try to determine how everyone in the world blacked out and experienced two minutes of their lives eight months into the future, has been a ratings winner for the network since its debut on September 24. 14.5 million people watched the premiere episode and the show is now beating Survivor on its Thursday night berth. It's emerged as the season's number one new drama.
While the show's creators have ideas for at least five seasons, now comes the challenge to see where the ratings for FlashForward will be come May 2010.
