Hurt Locker team re-upping on Triple Frontier

Posted by Patrick Sauriol on Monday, August 10, 2009

With the mounting success of The Hurt Locker behind them, director Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal are collaborating again on a new project called Triple Frontier. The duo went to Paramount and pitched the studio on their idea, the exact nature of which is being kept a secret. We know that it's an action-adventure and that the story takes place in the shady borderzone between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. Easy access to two rivers and heavy vegitation make it a perfect hideaway for crimelords that don't want to attract curious onlookers.

Charles Roven (The Dark Knight), Alex Gartner (Get Smart) and Steve Alexander (Swimming With Sharks) will produce for Paramount while Bigelow and Boal will both receive executive producer credits.
