While doing press in Rome for the Italian release of Inception, director Christopher Nolan told reporters that he's developing ideas for a video game based on his hit movie.

"[What] we are looking at doing is developing a video game based on the world of the film, which has all kinds of ideas that you can't fit into a feature film," Nolan said at the event. "That's something we've been talking about and are looking at doing long term, in a couple of years."

No development company was named at the press conference but it stands to reason that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will have a hand in the making of the game. As well, Nolan didn't say if he was thinking of making a video game prequel, or a sequel, or a game that follows the film's storyline.
