Seriously, not fucking around. There is a rumour out of New Zealand that Jeff Goldblum just died in an on set accident whilst filming over there too.
Jesus. Too wierd if that is true as well. Not with Farah Fawcett too.
At 12:21 PM this afternoon paramedics responded to a 911 call from Michael Jackson's rented home in Bel Air. According to reports the pop singer was found not breathing. After working on resuscitating Jackson for 47 minutes he was transported to the UCLA Emergency Center. Shortly after the media began to learn of the situation the TMZ website was the first to report that Michael Jackson had died as a result of a mycardial infarction. He was 50 years old.
As this story continues to develop, now the Los Angeles Times newspaper and the Associated Press are both reporting that Jackson has passed away based on sources within the police and medical profession. As of 3:48 PM PST no official statement has come from Jackson's family or police or hospital officials has been issued. Update: At 4:30 PM the Los Angeles coroner's office confirmed the death of Michael Jackson. No details on the cause of death were given.
Jackson had been preparing for a series of sold out concerts scheduled to take place in England next month. He had been reconsolidating his personal and financial affairs after being deeply in debt. Controversy has swirled around the performer since the early 1990s when allegations of child molestation first surfaced but were never proven. Before that, his Thriller album remained on the top of Billboard's record charts for an astounding 80 weeks in the early 1980s, a record that still hasn't been dethroned.

Or could be a mentalist hoax..... Google News are saying that NZ police have reported he fell to death whilst filming over there. Not sure I believe it though.
I wasn't completely aware that he had this comeback tour in the works, I may have heard a word or two about it. The first news of it at work today, it didn't register as being grave, but a few minutes later, someone on twitter who was following it read it out loud, and I must admit, my heart kind of sunk.
Alll this spectacle that his life became over this last decade or so.... I guess there was always some hope there that he'd come around and become more normal, in spite of what has happened, and it's particularly sad that he was just ready to try one more time, and now it's gone.
:( Any other kid from the 80's or older knows just how cool he was. I'm one of the people who are overlooking the past twenty years, and remembering him from when he meant the most to me. I never get choked up over a celebrity death, but his struck me so hard.
I had heard about his comeback and was pulling for him. This is a sad day. For better or worse, he always had my attention. I've been watching MTV and other stations almost all day, and even today his videos get me on my feet. I'm making it a personal goal to finally learn how to moonwalk, they have lessons on youtube. RIP Michael. :(
Poor Michael...He was the idol for millions of people. RIP dude...
