Rock Band: The Beatles out today
Posted by Patrick Sauriol on Wednesday, September 9, 2009
The screaming sound you heard coming from your local Best Buy, EB Games or Fry's? The people that just picked up their copy of Rock Band: The Beatles, now available for consumer consumption starting today.
45 tracks from across the fab four's reign from 1962 to 1969 including "A Hard Day's Night", "Back in the U.S.S.R.", "Can't Buy Me Love", "Twist and Shout", "Helter Skelter", "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" and "Yellow Submarine". As well there are four instruments modeled after the actual ones used by The Beatles that you can buy to feel that extra bit like George, Paul, John or Ringo. Additional Beatles songs will be released shortly but set you back $2 bucks a pop, or $20 for an album.
The ratings for Rock Band: The Beatles have been high and the positive critical reaction seems to be overwhelmingly universal. If you were thinking of picking up the premium bundle (which includes Beatles branded instruments) it will set you back $250 while a copy of the game goes for around $49.
