Tomorrow kicks off the first full day of the 2009 San Diego Comic Con but already people are taking photos, Twittering and writing blog posts from ground zero. Before Thursday rolls along and the con begins in full, let's look at some of the sights that people are taking photographs of from the convention center so you can get an idea as to the mayhem that's about to be unleashed:
The front of the Twilight/New Moon line-up outside the convention center, T-22 hours to go until the Thursday 3:00 PM panel. Approximately 50 people are waiting in line at this point. Two hours later the line has grown to a few hundred.
First Showing has a nice photo of the first promotional artwork spotted in the wild for Legion, a supernatural horror film slated for an early '10 release. The film stars Paul Bettany as the archangel Michael.
Last minute construction taking place on Marvel's SDCC booth. It's themed to be a recruitment center for Stark Industries with Marvel booth employees wandering the perimeter looking for prospective recruits.
A vehicle promoting District 9 can be seen on the roads surrounding the convention center decked out in MNU decals.
Warner Bros. is giving away oodles of bags branded with The Vampire Diaries to con goers.
The A Nightmare on Elm Street banner shows more detail on the new Freddy Kruger's makeup.
Josh Brolin with a gun + Megan Fox in a corset = Jonah Hex logo spotted.
An original Tron movie costume and one of the giant mechs from Avatar are on the con floor.
Mania's Rob Worley is photo blogging the con one step at a time and already he's visited the WildStorm office. Keep checking back for more sights from his travels.
From HitFix, this close-up photo of The Green Hornet's Black Beauty being kept under wraps -- for now. And check out the security at the Twilight booth.
From Cinemablend's Katey Rich, a plethora of photos from preview night including Ryan Reynolds Captain Amazing costume, giant Transformers, the Rocketeer and banners galore.
From Mania's Rob Worley, a close-up of Marvel's Hall of Armor.
