Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced a November 2, 2010 release for Toy Story 3 on DVD and Blu-ray. The highest-grossing animated movie of all-time and Disney's second-highest grossing movie in the studio's history, Toy Story 3 will be available in a four-disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack ($45.99), one-disc DVD ($29.99) and two-disc Blu-ray ($39.99). There will also be an Ultimate Toy Box 3-Movie Collection that will contain all three movies on Blu-ray, DVD and digital, with its final price to be specified.
The DVD will feature bonus goodies like the "Day & Night" short film that preceded the movie in theaters; five featurettes ("Toys!", "Buzz Lightyear Mission Logs: The Science of Adventure", "Paths to Pixar: Editorial", "The Gang's All Here", "A Toy's Eye View: Creating A Whole New Land") and a three-part Studio Stories feature ("Where's Gordon?", "Cereal Bar", "Clean Start").
On the Blu-ray you'll get all the bonus features on the regular DVD plus a digital copy of the movie; an audio commentary by director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla K. Anderson; an alternate commentary track with the heads of the story, technical, art and animation divisions; the Toy Story Trivia Dash game; and seven more featurettes ("Beginnings: Setting A Story In Motion", "Bonnie's Playtime: A Story Roundtable", "Roundin' Up A Western Opening", "Life Of A Shot", "Goodbye Andy", "Accidental Toymakers", "Making of Day & Night").
