TopPremise
His name is Hancock and he's supposed to be a superhero. The problem is that Hancock doesn't act like your typical hero: he spends his day getting drunk or sleeping off last night's hangover and if you mention it to him you will also find that he's got a bad attitude. But when Hancock saves the life of Ray Embrey the PR specialist wants to pay his savior back by remaking Hancock's public image. Can this washed-up superhero shape up and get back in the good books with the citizens of Los Angeles or will they still write him off the way Ray's wife Mary does?
TopWhat We Think
Will Smith hops on the superhero movie bandwagon but instead of playing a character from a comic book that we've seen before, he's playing a hero that we haven't seen before: a foul-mouthed, hard drinking, down-on-his-luck superman who isn't exactly a good role model. However, just because Hancock is a PR nightmare in his make believe world doesn't mean that we don't expect this movie to soar high at the box office.
