Hardly the same story as Dark Knight Rises, perhaps you should rewatch it again Quasar? This looks to be very faithful to Dark Knight Returns... Trailer looks good... very good.

Trailer: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1
Posted by Patrick Sauriol on Tuesday, July 31, 2012
Ever since the announcement that Warner Bros. Animation would be doing a direct-to-disc adaptation of Frank Miller's seminal Batman tale The Dark Knight Returns, I've been wondering what feeling the first look at it would give me. After watching the trailer for Part 1 (the story is being broken up into two films released on separate dates), the emotion that I'm feeling is...encouraging.
Peter Weller puts on a deeper and more growly voice as the 55-year old Bruce Wayne, but damn if some of the images aren't swiped perfectly from Miller's Bat-book. Sure, the music seems pretty average and what you expect from a D2D animated movie but at least the quality of said animation looks decent. From the members of the Mutants street gang to Carrie Kelley as the new female Robin, this quick taste of The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 leaves me wanting to see more.
Have a look:
Among the announced members of The Dark Knight Returns voice cast is the aforementioned Peter Weller, of RoboCop and Buckaroo Banzai fame; Ariel Winter as Carrie Kelley/Robin; Wade Williams as Harvey "Two-Face" Dent; Michael McKean as Dr. Wolper, the psychologist for The Joker; and David Selby who's playing an unrevealed character.
Part 1 of The Dark Knight Returns drops on digital demand and DVD on September 25.

Since this is the same story as The Dark Knight Rises, is this considered a reboot?
