This all means that pirates of the caribbean 4 may be released in 2011, instead of 2012, Because if walt disney pictures wants it released in 2011, but jerry bruckheimer wants it released in 2012, then that obviously means that it'll end being released in 2011, because disney does have more power to get a movie released at a puticular time then jerry bruckheimer would have power to do so, so it's pretty darn obvious now that even though most websites on the internet say 2012 for pirates of the caribbean 4 now, does not mean it wont be released in 2011 !. 2011 will probably be the time that it'll be released in because its filming time will most likely begin in 2010, and end in 2010, so it should not take so long to make the movie anyways, because their not gonna make two pirates of the caribbean movies back to back like they did with pirates of the caribbean dead mans chest and pirates of the caribbean at world's end in 2006 and 2007 !.

Disney picks Pirates 4 over Lone Ranger
Posted by Patrick Sauriol on Thursday, June 11, 2009
Disney knows that having Johnny Depp in its films is a good thing, but what happens when the studio needs to make a decision about which Depp-starring projects need to go in what order of production? The answer appears to be that pirates win out over cowboys.
Speaking exclusively to HitFix, Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer told the website that, between making The Lone Ranger movie and Pirates of the Caribbean 4, both of which Depp has agreed to star in, "Disney's priority is to get Pirates [4] made."
Depp wants to play Tonto, the Lone Ranger's Indian sidekick and ally in the 19th century old west tale, but when it comes down to it audiences have already bonded with the actor's portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow. "That's a great franchise for them and for us too," Bruckheimer said about the three Pirates films which have made over $1 billion dollars to date for the studio. "Beloved, with a great character and Johnny's really excited about coming back to Captain Jack."
And the door may be open for Gore Verbinski to also reprise his role as the film's director. While he had been spending his time developing a movie adaptation of the video game Bioshock for Universal Pictures, that film may have been recently grounded due to a spiralling budget, leaving Verbinski's dance card suddenly open. "You never know," Bruckheimer said when asked if Verbinski would change his mind and consider directing his fourth Pirates movie. "He created the franchise. He had a lot to add to that, but it's going to be up to him."
