I am willing to bet that the kind of girl that buys these looks absolutely NOTHING like any of those girls in the picture.

Star Trek corsets, the final frontier for fashion
Posted by Patrick Sauriol on Tuesday, June 16, 2009

Ah, the designers on Etsy, how I love that site. If you're unaware of what it does, consider it a cooler version of an online shopping store where one-person boutiques can flog their usually one-of-a-kind wares. Many has been the times that I've spotted a shirt or a cap designed by some talented costumer that's been inspired by one of their favorite TV shows or movies. And if Paramount's licensing department isn't going to make Star Trek-inspired corsets then someone should, right?
Created by Etsy user EveningArwen, these custom made Trek corsets can come in slightly different styles and colors. Burlesque performers take note: now you really can go where no man has gone before and create your own Star Trek themed routine. I'm sure that if you performed it at Comic Con International it would be a hit.
Arwen supplies more details about the corsets on her Etsy page and also has four other photos of her models posing at Vasquez Rocks, the same location that the latest Star Trek used as Spock's homeworld of Vulcan. (Bonus points for sticking to the geek background!) $200 bucks for a custom corset is a pretty darn good price too. Maybe the costume designer for the next Star Trek movie should think about commissioning Arwen to make one for Zoe Saldana?
I like how the sciences division model (the one in blue) is wearing high heels on the rocky terrain...because above all else, looking good in high heels is important when investigating a strange alien planet.
Fanboys everywhere are jerking it to that picture RIGHT NOW!
"Captain, I canna hold her together, she's gonna blow apart!"

I keep clicking....and it keeps getting bigger.
Seriously, though, she's got a very nice mideval princess dress and her Alice in Wonderland dress is teh sexxay. Kah....I need you to model that!
It's like Sex In The City meets Star Trek, only without a horse-faced old bint acting like a slut.

I know Shatner wore a girdle, not a corset. However, he would look smart in one of these.
