This past Monday night the American premiere of Inglourious Basterds was held at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Los Angeles. While the main man that film geeks cared about was Quentin Tarantino and the rest of the world's paparazzi took another 100,000 photos of a black leathered Angelina Jolie standing beside her man and the film's star, the one celeb that stood out to me from the melee was a very buff Christina Ricci. The girl has gone and hit the gym to shed her Speed Racer baby fat (not like there was much of that) and put on some Sarah Connor-esque muscle!

I did some quick digging to see if I could see a future movie project that Ricci was buffing up for. She just finished work on After.Life, a thriller in which she plays a mortician, and I don't see much opportunity for flexing the biceps in that kind of role. Alpha and Omega and The Hero of Color City are an animated films so scratch those ones from the list. Long Time Gone? Nope, it's a drama.

I know. It must be for a top secret Marvel superherione role in The Avengers. That must be it. They're gonna change her skin color in post and she's going to play the She-Hulk. Actually, keep her in those heels and have her put on a snappy power suit and smart glasses and she's She-Hulkie at her lawyer dayjob. Thank you very much Marvel, I'll take my finder's fee now please.
