It's not that I don't like cleaning Adam54's cock, it's that I don't like Adam54 having a clean cock.

It probably is that boring. It's a slow day over here in Minnesota, too.

That was my 800th post! And I wasted it on Dave Dameshek. Oh the humanity.

Looks like you need to give According to Jim a chance. There are years worth of reruns for you to catch up on!

No. Absolutely not. I wish I would've given it a chance during season 1 so it would've been cancelled by season 2. I was shocked that a guy that funny could be a writer on a show so painfully not.

An example of the other Dave's work. Reading emails from their producer Jacuzzi Pete sent on a drunken binge. Plus you can hear Shek's nasally voice!

I listened to 30 seconds and was bored.  Maybe I should move to Minnesota.

Well, you'll be interested to know that Hicks has become inexorably cosmically entwined with Jim Belushi's fate due to several common traits (both are painfully unfunny; both can play the piano; both had childhood traumas [not sure what Jim Belushi's was, but Hicks had a GoBot jammed up his ass, where it resides to this very day]). So if you were to watch every second of According to Jim and absorb every last nuance, forcing yourself to love the very fabric of space it occupies, it's conceivable by the very slimmest of margins (1 in 700 billion trillion zillion) that you could cancel Hicks. If you also watch The Defenders, those odds double.

Personally, if I were you, I'd take those odds.

Quasar: I'm in. I'll start with the next rerun I see and try to make it through to the very end for once.

Which is more than Dr. Ake did. He missed out on some good stuff. Comedy from the writer of According to Jim apparently needs time to evolve.

But I'll not sit idly by and tolerate your Minnesota bashing! It's finally warm enough that it's kind of nice around here again.

Wisconsin, Minnesota - What's the difference? They're both frozen wastelands filled with cheese and funny accents....

Ahem.  We have amazing summers to make up for 8 months of winter.

My brother used to live in Milwaukee and raved about it.  He didn't live there for long, so I never got a chance to visit.  I have been to Minnesota once and thought it was stunning.  It was March, so it was a little cold, but not too bad (I did grow up in upstate NY, so I know cold).  I loved all of the lakes.  Mall of America...meh.

So, to clarify, I was not Minnesota bashing, I was merely pointing out that, this time of year, there isn't much to do in Minnesota (or Wisconsin)...unless, of course you are locked up in the house, next to a fireplace, with Kah.

I found this interesting on your list, Kah.

46. Buy fresh produce -- thank God winter's over -- at area farm markets - July 3

48. Say goodbye to summer with the whole family at the Bay View Bash - July 5

49. Celebrate autumn's abundance with wine at the Cedarburg Wine & Harvest Festival - July 6

Then, there's this:

82. Win a Def Leppard mirror at the State Fair carnival -do they know that it isn't 1988?

Our State Fair kicks the crap out of Wisconsin's State Fair. Last year I bought three different kinds of bacon (Big Fat, Chicken Fried, and Chocolate Covered) and then got a bottomless glass of ice cold milk for only a dollar. It was AWESOME.

Let's all hope and pray Adam's cancellation powers don't wipe out the Minnesota State Fair!

It's been running more or less nonstop for 141 years (except when the pesky Civil War got in the way. And that peskier World War II) so I feel like I'm on pretty safe ground with praising this one.

Oh, and whereabouts were you in Minnesota, Doctor? The Mall of America is approximately 4 minutes north of me right now, so I've been there enough that it doesn't really impress me anymore, but it blew me away when I was a little kid.

I visited Minneapolis in March 2000.  I went to the second round of the NCAA tournament at the Metrodome and watched Maryland vs. UCLA and Auburn vs. Iowa State.  I also drove by the recording studio for Prince, which was not impressive at all.  If I were a little kid, the Mall of America would have impressed me.

I remember those rounds! I really wanted to go but my mom wouldn't let me, and since I was 15 and living 100 miles away at the time I had to settle for watching on TV. This was back in the days when the Metrodome still had a dome right?

Is Prince's studio the same as his big purple mansion?

Back when ISU was a bit of a force in basketball. Man, that seems like ages ago!

I remember the days when the Metrodome had a dome.  Ahhh, the good ole days.  ISU had a pretty good team back then.  So did UCLA.  Unfortunately, I was rooting for Auburn and Maryland in those games, so I went home without a win for either team.

The studio that I saw was a big white, plain looking building.  It was out on some road with nothing else around.  Maybe I was duped by my girlfriend at the time and she just told me it was his studio.  I believed it.

You will get a better idea of how cool this is once they start listing the bands, but this is the big festival.

And our Irish Fest is the biggest outside of Ireland, so that's pretty fucking cool.

Studios are often pretty plain. Sun Studio in Memphis, where Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, Charlie Feathers, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Charlie Rich, and Johnny Cash all got their start, is an unimpressive space.
