April 29, 2012 - Fantastic Four / Josh Trank confirmed as director

Catching up with Fox president Tom Rothman at this year's CinemaCon, the exec confirmed that Chronicle director Josh Trank has indeed been attached to direct the studio's Fantastic Four reboot movie. However, Rothman was hesitant to say that Trank was a lock to make the picture:

"Well, I think there’s a possibility of [him directing].  I mean he’s gonna develop it now, and then it depends on the script," Rothman said.
