December 30, 2010 - The Avengers / New Mexico gets The Avengers

The Governor's office of New Mexico has announced that the movie will be primarily shot in the state. The Avengers production has plans to film scenes in the 47th state of the union from April to September 2011. The Governor is happy with the move as it will create hundreds of temporary but good paying jobs.
