Moviehole is reporting through their source that offers have been made to Mark Wahlberg and Liam Neeson to play the parts of Case and Armitage, respectively, in the picture. Case is the protagonist in the film, the computer hacker at the center of the story, while Artimage is the man that recruits Case into his strike team.

The site further states that both actors have been offered pay-or-play deals, meaning that if they accept the job they will get a nice check (even if forces conspire to ground this version of the movie from ever happening.)

 Wahlberg is too old for this role. Case is supposed to be early-to-mid 20s. However, if they get the movie made, and if it's made well, I'll forgive this oversight.
