X-Men and Wolverine leading man Hugh Jackman is developing and attached to star in Ghostopolis, a fantasy action-adventure set up at Walt Disney Pictures and based on the forthcoming graphic novel by Doug TenNapel. Jackman would play an agent working for the Supernatural Immigration Task Force whose job it is to round up spirits and send them back to the other side. The agent has to cross over himself when a living human boy gets accidentally sent to the spirit realm and it's up to Jackman's character and his deceased former flame, herself now a ghost, to bring the boy back.

Jackman and John Palermo are producing via their Seed Productions company along with the Gotham Group. The project is in the very early stages of development and has yet to find a writer or director. [Full story]
