October 10, 2009 - Burlesque / Kristen Bell joins cast

Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Couples Retreat) is joining the cast of Burlesque as the on-screen rival to Christina Aguilera's character. Bell's character is named Nikki and is described by The Hollywood Reporter as the "loose-cannon lead dancer and main attraction at the club who spirals out of control when Aguilera's character suddenly gets the spotlight."

The first day of filming is November 9.
