October 10, 2009 - Game of Death / project announced

Director Abel Ferrara and actor Wesley Snipes are reuniting on their first film together since 1990's King of New York. Titled Game of Death, the action-thriller began filming this week in Detroit. Snipes plays the bodyguard of a politician who is targeted for death by five of the world's top assassins.

Sony Pictures has picked up domestic distribution rights while Voltage Pictures is selling the international ones.

Also starring in the movie are Zoe Bell (Grindhouse) and Robert Davi (Die Hard).
