September 16, 2010 - Kingdom of the Spiders 3D / project announced

A 3D remake of the 1977 low budget horror film Kingdom of the Spiders is being developed by Stealth Media Group. The project seems to be in its infancy right now and doesn't have any actors attached to it, or info about whether the project will follow the original's story.

The producers are Nuala Barton, Rene Sheridan, Jason Piette, Sean O'Kelly and Michael Cowan.

The original Kingdom of the Spiders starred William Shatner and came out two years before he returned to captain the USS Enterprise in Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
