On the upside, I am currently watching endless documentaries on Discovery / Nat Geo / Eden / History / Military channels etc. etc. I now know more than I ever need to about behind the scenes on cruise ships.

Whenever I get sick I go back through and watch all the adaptations of Jane Austen novels (plus Jane Eyre). But I don't think that's an equitable solution for everyone.

I recommend herbal remedies. Smoking will kill your throat but ease your nausea and make your sick-movies that much more distracting and hilarious!

Sorry you're sick. Everyone I know is sick too, which means I know it's coming. I hate this part of winter.

I got the H1N1 flu shot mid-December and I've felt like crap ever since. I know a few others who feel the same way. Off to the mid-life crisis thread I go!

I still feel like shit, and smoking isn't an option seeing as I am still managing to stay off them, even for medicinal purposes. I never used to get sick like this when I smoked :(

That said, the wife and I are financially sound. Very, very little debt other than the badass house we bought just over a year ago. Kid #1 is on the way, and looking as healthy as can be. I have a solid group of friends that I routinely let off the steam with. On top of that, I haven't succumbed to near middle aged white folk (yes, I'm racist towards white people) "nights out." She understands that I fucking hate watching Grey's Anatomy and that she will never, ever get me to watch it. EVER. I also have several job propositions, several of which include a pay increase of about 30-40% in the near future.

Sorry that I seem like an ass sometimes, but I really don't give a fuck about Spider-Man.
