Could be epic, could make a few simple mistakes and end up really disappointing, or really piss people off. I think the lukewarm response to parts of Man Of Steel coupled with cynicism over Affleck's casting mean it starts with an uphill struggle.
So what do you reckon they should do in the film, with characters, plot points and story direction to keep it on track?
What Underoos? Snyder nixed the Underoos.
Expect no Underoos on either. Snyder says they're visual remnants of circus strongmen and that no superhero would actually wear them. Because superheroes actually exist in the real world, and we know what they would actually wear.
But Supes suit was shown, in MoS, to be the underoos that Kryptonians wear under their armour.
Ah. When you said Underoos, I had in mind the dainty red briefs we had grown accustomed to seeing him wear before Man of Steel.
Yeah. I don't know how we managed to go seventy-five years without being bothered by them.

His face always looked pretty dumb in the mask. Every time he put on the mask, it looked like his IQ dropped eighty points.
It did make his mouth look a little awkward. Like he was recovering from some kind of stroke.
Those three minutes and thirty-eight seconds had me laughing pretty hard.
Seriously, though, I never got "badass" from Bale's Batman. Not in any of the movies. Not even once.
I don't understand the retrospective bandwagon that seems to be building to trash the Nolan films.
It probably started when TDKR sucked.
I think, like Quantum of Solace suffered from following Casino Royale, it suffered from something coming before being absolutely amazing.
TDKR was not perfect but still remains the 3rd best Batman film ever made.
As time passes I also start to really appreciate Batman Begins.
I like parts of all three. That said, I've been hard on the series from the beginning. I've been bitching about elements of Nolan's movies since the first time I saw Memento. I don't know whether I'm on a bandwagon or not, but I tend to bitch about things that annoy me.
The Prestige remains the Nolan movie that annoys me least.
I don't have all that many gripes with Quantum of Solace. Haven't seen it since I saw it in the theater. My memories of it are mostly positive. Maybe it dragged a little, but it didn't do it enough to bother me much.
A WB exec asked him if he would be Lex, and he said, "Oh, would I!"
Unfortunately, the WB exec had a wooden eye, and felt he was being insulted. His admittedly mean response nearly brought the whole deal down.
They reached a compromise, and now Superman has a weakness to wood 'n ice.

I thought the costume in the games is pretty much dead on what it should be, to help distance the character from the other-worldy aspect of Supes and his Kryptonian underoos.
