 So...Robot Combat League. Anyone else watching? I'm watching it with my son. It's Tuesday nights on SyFy.

What are you watching right now....... 2013 Special Edition!

 Some of the stuff in Young Justice strays from standard DC lore, IIRC. DC has a whole multiverse thing going on, which is their way of dealing with continuity problems or reboots or something, and I think YJ is set on Earth-16. 

At any rate, I'm really enjoying it as well. I think it's right up there with Batman: TAS and Justice League in quallity. My kids really liked the first season, but did not like the time jump between seasons that led to the Invasion storyline.

Switching gears, I've just realized that I haven't seen the last several episodes of the latest series of Misfits. I've also realized that I don't care.

Also, I watched last week's episode of The Following and decided I'm going to stop following it. Where Zero Hour was so stupid it was funny, The Following is just stupid.

Mass Effect 3

 Yes, Mal, they can be a huge timesink. I generally get my gaming in at night after the kids have gone to bed, or or Saturday mornings.

As such, I don't play a wide range of games, but find ones I really like and play the hell out of them. What Mass Effect has going for it is definitely the characters and the relationships you form with them. Some of the gameplay elements in the first two are a bit clunky, but the story and characters more than make up for it.

 The Wii interface for Netflix is irksome. The PC and iOS interfaces aren't bad.

Regarding Super 8 -- the monster was empathic, right? It shared some sort of psychic link with whatever it touched. So why did it take otherwise innocent, sentient beings and eat them?
