I thought The Hangover was pretty good.  It was certainly better than a lot of the vaunted comedies to have come out of late.

Like what? It's nowhere near 'Superbad' or 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin', and not as good as 'Anchorman', either.

I thought Superbad kind of dragged in the middle.  The party and girl having her period joke wasn't funny to begin with and went on way too long.  But...McLovin'?  AWESOME.

Anchorman was great.  I did not, for example, get Pineapple Express at all.

'Superbad' was pure awesome, and I don't consider 'Pineapple Express' to be a vaunted comedy. Since Omi brought it up, 'Hot Tub Time Machine' is another comedy that was better than 'The Hangover'. 'McGruber', too.

Well, McGruber's better than everything, so that's not really a fair comparison.

Don't even get me started. Every time I post anything anywhere about anything she follows me around Facebook and says "really Adam? Really?????? Gonna lose some man points on that one!" I'm sure she's gonna have something ignorant to say either to me or you about your comment to her. We won't be FB friends a second longer than I work at the job I'm at.

She has been annoying me for a while with that. I made a comment on that update mocking her for recommending Rescue Me (which I've never even seen; could be a good show), then came here and saw this. I hope it doesn't seem like we're ganging up on her. If I had seen this first, I might not have made the comment.

Rescue Me is a good show. You best not have made a disparaging remark towards it.

All I really know about it is that it involves firefighters, and Denis Leary is shown screaming in profile in some of the promotional material.

Maybe it's not a scream.  Maybe  it's a still frame of him auditioning for a Pac-Man movie.

Wow Rescue Me is still on? I was really into it for the first season or so, then it just slid off my TV radar.

I think I liked The Hangover more than Hot Tub Time Machine, although we did get Pare's excellent tits in a hot tub....

Speaking of my facebook...who added me today? Can I make it an official rule that if you're adding me on facebook you should include your CA name so I know who the fuck you are? I'm happy to add most anybody on here (sorry Hicks) but you don't even want to know the depths I had to sink to in order to find out who Ol' Beau Watkins was...

So yeah. Don't make me repeat that trauma.

Did you say Ol' Beau Watkins? The eight-foot, two-ton monster who can palm a medicine ball? Did you know that he went through puberty in one night? He howled like a werewolf for ten hours and in the morning he had a beard. And later, when he was 17, he date-raped David Bowie.

Is that the same Ol' Beau Watkins who once inhaled a seagull?  I hear he has a toenail at the end of his penis.  I hear he can bend a Ritz cracker.  I hear he donated his chest hair to a hairless dog.  Rumor has it that dog sprouted thumbs within weeks of the transplant.

If not your CA name, a catchphrase easily associated with you will serve. For instance, I said "Hey Adam, it's me, your buddy Hicks. Friend me so we can get on bitching about how Obama's gonna fix everything."

OK, so not really a catchphrase.

KV added you today, dummy.

HTTM was way funnier than Hangover.  I only made it through about 10 minutes of Pineapple Express.  I quit smoking pot in the mid nineties, so I don't really find stoner humor that funny.  Due Date really wasn't funny at all, and Zach-whatever-his-name-is plays pretty much the same character in Hangover.

Now how was I supposed to know that was KV? I've never once seen him post his real name or anything on here. I sort of suspected him because I remembered him being from Missouri, but he also could have been part of the Ol' Beau Watkins Triangle with that qualification.

But I like that catchphrase idea Quasar!
