So the trailer is out. I thought the film itself looked pretty good but I am not sure how it is World War Z, which is a book I really like.
Not sure how this reflects, or will attempt to reflect, the book.

I shared the trailer with my son and he was bothered by the fast-running zombies. Not that they mention or even show that they are zombies in the movies. If you didn't know what the Z stood for, you might not even know.
I'm guessing that they're kind of taking the concept and story of the book, but making the narrator (Brad Pitt's character) be a direct witness of many of the events rather than hearing about them after the fact. It makes sense, because watching him interview people and showing flashbacks just doesn't have the same dramatic oomph on film. But even though I understand the need for changes, I still don't like it because I love the book so much.
The trailer has me somewhat excited. I wasn't too keen on the novel, feeling like it didn't really bring anything new. In the trailer however, I really like how the zombies look like a force of nature. The standard 'heroic last stand' seems like a complete non-issue.
That said, I still don't see anything new...but I do like the 'wave of zombies' approach.
Zombies should get faster as they rot, as they are getting lighter.
I have this idea for hydrogen zombies but my girlfriend says it's really stupid.

I was talking about zombies, not Goits' posts.

Expand? Is it like Lifeforce vampires?
They would! Expand that is.
I have not seen "Lifeforce" but a wiki search says it has Patrick Stewert in it, but it doesn't sound like he does much. Is it something I should watch?
But yeah, I wanted to do zombies that are infected by alien parasites that somehow fill them with hydrogen and cause parts of the host's bone structure to become a flint-like substance. Then they could fly, or float, and spit fire.
Plus, a chance for a mob of exploding zombies.
It has tits. Guys like tits.
It's also a Tobe Hooper movie. Some folks like the Hoop. If you're one of 'em, you should check it.
It's got a naked alien vampire chick, and she stays naked the entire movie. Mostly it's her sucking the life out of every guy she meets, including Patrick Stewart. I think he's in it for about 6 minutes. 3 of those minutes are of him being sucked.

Sounds like marriage.

Not really. In a marriage, the wife only sucks the life out of her husband. All the other guys she meets are just fine.
You have a spare tire.
I mean that in the Urban Dictionary sense.
Not really. You look pretty fit to me, Dalty. You have the best body money can buy.
As does his wife.
I need to lose more weight again. I have been drinking too much and not taking enough exercise lately. Xmas round the corner, that ain't gonna change!
It'll change on Xmas day. Xmas will be upon you then, and no longer around the corner.
It'll go back to being around the corner the next day, but you gotta take what little you're given.

Looks like it would've been really cool like 15 years ago.
