Screenwriter Blake Masters will rewite the Jason Rothenberg draft of Colossus: The Forbin Project. Masters is a known quantity at Universal, the home of Colossus, where he's also working on the 2 Guns project for Vince Vaughn to star in.

Brian Grazer and his Imagine Entertainment company continue to oversee the creative development of the remake.
